LibreMC

LibreMC is a Minecraft Java Edition Earth server opened on the 29th of March 2025. It is owned and developed by _coolbird and partially assisted by zydde. The IP is libremc.net

The server features a 1:750 size Earth map with a 1:35 height ratio. It uses Towny for claiming and the creation of towns and nations.

History

The server was in development from January to February 2025 and finally opening on the 29th of March 2025

Beginnings

On the first day of the server being open to the public, the first people to join were aespera, cuerny, boo_mac and sb312n6. The first three came from the McAtlas Earth server, which this server is inspired by.

First towns

The first towns created were Rome, Constantinople, Attaleia, Milan and Innsmouth. The first four joined the newly created Roman Empire made by cuerny. Shortly after Brugge was created along with Israel (named Holy Land). At this time at the start of April, HisRoyalMajesty and DerpingDerpDerp also first joined.
