History
Initial Creation
The Holy Celtic Empire was created on the 17th of August and was originally called "The United Kingdom". The creation of the nation was sponsored by the Roman Empire in protest to France's regional power. Both the capital and nation were created on the same day.
French intervention
Shortly after it's establishment, France demanded the nation be named under a pseudonym that implied French control. A deal was reached to rename the nation to the neutral name "Cheshire" for a undisclosed sum. However after the addition of Queensland, Owned by Phinkleforb, the name "Holy Celtic Empire" was adopted.
